Choose from one of three options. Shown right is Bento Box #1 with ½ a California roll, Teriyaki chicken, Spring Roll and Fried Rice. Or try Bento Box #2 with Chicken phanaeng, Tuk-tuk rice patty, Salmon roll and Tuna tatake, or Bento Box #3 with Mixed nigari, Mixed sashimi, Tampico roll, and Tempura shrimp.
Vermicelli noodles, iceberg lettuce, basil, mint, bean sprouts and shrimp. All served chilled and wrapped in rice paper with peanut dipping sauce. 2 rolls.
Looking for a warm option? Bambu’s Spring Rolls are delicious. Crispy on the outside and filled with fresh vegetables and ground chicken, they are served with our homemade plum sauce.
Choose from tempura shrimp drizzled with a sweet and sour pineapple sauce, honey garlic braised pork spare ribs in a sweet soya sauce or Kung Pao tempura chicken bites covered with a not-too-spicy honey garlic sauce dressed with chile, peanuts and green onions.
All options served over rice and best accompanied with Bambu’s house beverage, the Youth Juice, a refreshing blend of aloe vera and frozen green tea.
Enjoy Bambu’s succulent, authentic ramen noodle soup with a hardy and aromatic shiitake–roasted pork broth, partnered with house cured pork belly and brisket, a hardboiled egg, and lightly spiced shichimi togarashi potatoes, topped with fresh bean sprouts and scallions.
Best enjoyed in good company and accompanied with a crisp pinot grigio or a cold tsingtao beer.
A traditional Thai dish, phanaeng is a type of red curry that is thick, salty and sweet, with a nutty peanut flavor. The curry paste is made with dried chili peppers, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime zest, coriander root, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, shallot, shrimp paste, salt and peanuts.
In our Bambu version, we have mixed the curry with coconut milk to soften the body of the cause and paired it with white chicken and green beans. Topped with fresh cilantro and wonton chips and served with white rice on the side.
No Asian restaurant is complete without banana tempura. Our chefs take ripe Costa Rican bananas and cover them in a delicious tempura coating before deep frying.
The crispy tempura bananas are served warm with your choice of vanilla, ginger or green tea ice cream and drizzled with fresh strawberry coulis.
We try to eat here each time we are in Los Suenos. The food is good but a bit on the pricy side. We had sushi, spring rolls and Pad Thai with shrimp. Food was excellent and the view is worth it.
My wife and I decided we needed to back off a little on the amount of food we were eating on the trip so Sushi filled the bill nicely. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the marina with hundreds of beautiful yachts and sportsfishers. Service was excellent and friendly.
